We are dive industry people. I started a dive shop in 2000 on Oahu called Island Divers Hawaii, and sold off all Oahu operations by September 24, 2024.

Along the way I also started Snorkel with Turtles, Dolphin Divers, and bought Honolulu Scuba Company, all of which have found new owners.

We kept the international dive travel piece, which does not require a physical location. That is primarily what Blue Hat Travel is.

The work that we do now is travel planning for international dive trips with the added components of travel advisor expertise from Sheila and photography from Matt.

We have been in full nomad mode with no permanent address since January 30, 2025. It’s awesome. Choice, not necessity.

Will we one day get a permanent base camp? Probably. Don’t rush us. See travel schedule.
