Forgot to post yesterday! We are fine Not much wind yesterday, cool and sunny, perfect weather. Paddled a few hours and ran across the Sand Point Lodge. Bought some Doritos and a Dr. Pepper zero. Had a few moments of wifi. The lake we are in is full of houses and speed boats, no fish.
Order up a burger and chicken tenders at the Sand Point for lunch. TBD if we paddle out today or not. Havent seen any smoke.
We did find out yesterday that the Echo Trail from Ely to Crane is closed. That was a van ride back to Ely. Dont think that is a big deal though, there are highways around that are not much longer. Fires, what a pain.
Hope the fires are not affecting you negatively too much. Some days my relatives in Michigan said they had to stay indoors. Fun to see your update. Vaya con Dios.
