Today.we didnt move campsites, with a view.like yesterday you can imagine why. We are only 11 miles to exit with another night in, so pretty easy out.
Very liesurely morning. I had a nap going by 10am, lol. Lakeside hammock was an intended readi g session, but you know.
At noon we grabbed lunch and portagrd to Pine lake in search of something on the map called Johnson falls. We have three maps, none of us brought one. Still found it with a bit of bushwacking. It was actually two falls upper and lower. Greaf swimming holes and good place for lunch.
Shawn and I stayed on Pine to add to the two northerns he and Kathy got in the morning. Ended uonwith 10 bass on the stringer which we kept half for dinner.
Back at camp I had time for a little lake swim after cleaning fish. Been years since I did any open water swimming, felt good. When I turned around at the far end of the lake there was an eagle.watching me from a beaver damn, that was neat.
Great dinner with some good laughs. Pudding, nuff said.
Big water tomorrow on Pine Lake, may the wind be with us.
