The travel had only three portages but the wind came up a lot after the last one so we called it a day early. The last portage was tough too, lots of up. Saving grace was a waterfall, but that made it a day trip destination as well and I saw omre.people in one spot (30) than I have ever seen in the boundary waters.
The morning paddle down south lake was gentle breeze at the back and bass biting all the way down, super fun.
