Travel day. Made it to Little Saganaw, worth it. We picked up a sprawling campsite with 330° view on a bluff.
Nine portages.today was a lot though, both of our back feeling it.
Sunny morning and mostly sunny all day with no rain – a first on this trip.
Some.of the lakes we paddlied through were pretty cool. The pic today is on a multicolored wall on Mowak Lake. I think that is the name. I am feet up at the campsite and it doesnt seem to matter much.
Pitcher plant was a neat find today. Lots of loons and beavers.
Swainson Thrush. The call of this bird is something else. Apparently we are in his space!
